Etsy Treasuries...

Oh MY!
So we have been doing etsy for a couple of months and I love browsing through the treasuries, but I didn't know who picked them, or if you had to be in a certain group or whatever. Imagine my excitement when I found out I could make one... or a ton! So while I was waiting for my husband to get home from work before we went to Easter dinner (at my parents... and yes it was DELICIOUS!) and I made my FIRST one. I titled it  "Not Dorothy's Shoes". It is filled with RED VINTAGE SHOES! I got to go through hundreds them & pick my favorites, which can I just say, was hard to narrow down. It kinda felt like shopping but with out spending money. FABULOUS!
Well I had so much fun with that one that I made another one. hehehe "As I Look Out the Window..."  This one is filled with really pretty photography and romantic pieces. I love it... It actually makes me want to look out the window in hopes I will see such beauty.
I have to admit, I am addicted. Like I need something else to occupy my time. :-) Let me know what you think <3

That's what's going on over here. I hope you are all doing fabulously!

I hope you had a wonderful and blessed Easter.

I'm Backkkkkk!

My Gosh- I can't believe it's been so long.
Well to give you a brief recap... our little Maci Melina turned 3 in March! Time sure does fly. We think she is going to be a fashion designer. She will only wear skirts and tutus. Even over jeans. The fuller the better. She changes at least four times a day. She thinks that play dress up shoes with a heel are appropriate. You can often find her dancing in front of the mirror. And I would love to know where she gets her dance moves because none of the shows she watches move like that!!! She is quite the little character.

So, as fabulous as the weekend was, we got a ton of rain. This, on top of all the snow we still had, caused our river to flood, then our road and then our house. We were evacuated by the fire department at about 2:00 am. Thank God for them because we didn't even know it was happening. Although we live right beside a river, it has never rose high enough to worry. Here are some photos of the aftermath...

See the computer tower sitting on the chair? Yeah- well just a few hours before it was submersed in water.
Hence, my absence :(

My yard

The river is usually MUCH lower than this.

Someone tried to drive through the water and lost control. Thankfully, she was okay, her car... not so much.

This lovely body of water is actually an open field. These photos don't even begin to describe what it was before the water receded. It was one hot mess! It was surely an experience... one I hope to never have to go through again. But thankfully, we were all okay and it could have been so much worse. So that is what I have been up to, more or less... recovering. But there was a rainbow after the storm... I redid my whole kitchen and living room. And I LOVE it!!! See? Everything happens for a reason. God must have been like "Gurrllll... you need to do something with this house!"
I would have taken a much more subtle hint, but He is funny like that ;-)
What have YOU been up to? I will have to stop by and see.
Hugs & Besos,
